Integrating ChatGPT in Education: Enhancing Australian Curriculum Lessons

Are you interested in developing the use of AI language models at your school in a controlled and effective way? Are you looking for innovations to help your teachers save time? Do you wish to explore options for improving their teaching and learning practices efficiently and effectively?
This workshop aims to familiarise teachers with the innovative use of ChatGPT* in lesson planning and curriculum development, creating diverse, engaging, and curriculum-aligned lesson plans for various subjects and age groups. A key component of this workshop is customising ChatGPT* generated lesson plans with proven cooperative learning tools and ensuring that all tasks are appropriately scaffolded to ensure student success.
It will be presented by Gerard Alford from itc Publications who brings 20 years of high level classroom experience and 20 years of teaching-strategy development to enhance the pedagogy of teachers, through workshops, production of daily content diaries and the development of digital lesson ideas and tools.
- Who? All K-12 teachers and curriculum leaders across various subjects and grade levels interested in integrating time-saving technology into their curriculum planning.

NESA Accredited Workshop
Completing Integrating ChatGPT in Education: Enhancing Australian Curriculum Lessons will contribute 3 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Accredited PD in the priority area of Delivery and assessment of NSW Curriculum/Early Years Learning Framework addressing Standard Descriptor 2.1.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher in NSW.
